Media House, a division of the Society for Media and Value Education, was inaugurated and blessed on January 25, 1994, by Rev. Br. Martin Poothokkaran OFM Cap., the then mission superior of Krist Jyoti Region. This publishing and distribution venture functions under the auspices of Krist Jyoti Province, India.

The founding director was Br. Xavier Vadakkekara OFM Cap. while the managing director was Br. Micheal Mundanattu OFM Cap. Initially the administrative office of Media House was at A-1/3, Surya Nagar in Ghaziabad district of U. P. In 1997, Media House got enlisted with the International Standard Book Number (ISBN system).

On May 1, 1997, the registered office-cum-admin office started functioning from 375-A, Pocket-2, Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Delhi - 110091. On May 1, 2007, the administrative office was shifted to E-94, Sector-6, Noida, U. P. with Br. Baiju Chalakkal OFM Cap. as the director. On January 1, 2012, Br. Xavier took over as the administrative head. On May 1, 2017, the administrative office was shifted to its present address at C-12, Sector-8, Noida – 201301, U. P.

In the last 24 years of its existence, Media House has published over 1000 titles in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Spanish etc.
