St. Paul’s School, Shahbad

The Chapter held from November 02 to 06, 2002 at Kartarpur resolved to establish a new centre at Shahbad in the District of Rampur. A suitable plot of land was located by Br. Joseph Zacharias and was bought on February 24, 2003. The foundation stone was laid by Br. Thomas Pullatt, the then Vice-Provincial. Due to the hard work of the brothers, in January, 2014, the Academy was affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.
On May 29, 2016, foundation stone for St. Paul’s Ashram was laid by Br. Joseph Panthiruvelil. In April 20, 2017, St. Paul’s Ashram was blessed and inaugurated by Bp. Francis Kalist.

TESTAMENT OF ST. FRANCIS

The friars must be very careful not to accept churches or poor dwellings for themselves, or anything else built for them, unless they are in harmony with the poverty which we have promised in the Rule; and they should occupy these places only as strangers and pilgrims
